It is situated on the border of four districts (Sultanpur, Ambedkar Nagar, Azamgarh and Jaunpur) far away from Sultanpur district headquarters of Ayodhya Division in Uttar Pradesh. Kalan is a small village full of greenery, pollution-free and equipped with modern facilities. It has centers of higher education (Shri Vishwanath P.G.
